Asana vs Process Street: What are the differences?

Introduction

Asana and Process Street are both powerful project management tools that can be used to streamline and optimize workflows, but they have some key differences. In this Markdown code, I will outline six specific differences between Asana and Process Street.

  1. User Interface: Asana has a clean and modern user interface that is visually appealing and easy to navigate. On the other hand, Process Street has a more simple and straightforward user interface with less visual elements, making it easier for users to focus on the task at hand.

  2. Features: Asana offers a wide range of features including task management, project tracking, collaboration tools, and integrations with other platforms. Process Street, on the other hand, is more focused on checklist-based workflows, with features specifically designed for creating and automating recurring processes.

  3. Customization: Asana allows users to customize projects, tasks, and workflows to fit their specific needs. Users can create custom fields, templates, and reports. Process Street, on the other hand, is more rigid and less customizable, with predefined checklist templates and limited options for tailoring workflows.

  4. Automation: Asana offers automation features such as task dependencies, due date reminders, and notifications. Process Street takes automation a step further by allowing users to create conditional logic and automated workflows using if-then rules, which can greatly streamline and simplify complex processes.

  5. Integration: Asana supports a wide range of integrations with other popular apps and platforms, allowing for seamless data transfer and collaboration. Process Street also offers integrations but has a more limited selection compared to Asana, which can be a drawback for users who rely heavily on integrating with other tools.

  6. Pricing: Asana offers a range of pricing plans, including a free option for small teams. Process Street also provides different pricing tiers, but does not offer a free plan. This difference in pricing structure can be a factor to consider for budget-conscious users.

In summary, Asana provides a visually appealing user interface with a wide range of features and customization options, while Process Street offers a more streamlined and checklist-focused approach with advanced automation capabilities, although with a more limited range of integrations. The pricing structures of the two platforms also differ, with Asana offering a free plan for small teams, whereas Process Street does not have a free option.

I'm comparing Aha!, Trello and Asana. We are looking for it as a Product Management Team. Jira handles all our development and storyboard etc. This is for Product Management for Roadmaps, Backlogs, future stories, etc. Cost is a factor, as well. Does anyone have a comparison chart of Pros and Cons? Thank you.

Decided

Both Asana and Trello support Kanban style project tracking. Trello is Kanban-only project management, knowledge management, actually card-management tools. Asana is much more complex, supports different project management approaches, well integrated and helpful for any style/type project.

We choose Asana finally, but still some projects kept in Trello
