Confluence vs Unito: What are the differences?

Confluence: One place to share, find, and collaborate on information. Capture the knowledge that's too often lost in email inboxes and shared network drives in Confluence instead – where it's easy to find, use, and update; Unito: Asana - Github integration for seamless collaboration. Unito is a project management tools integrator. Make collaboration seamless across teams. First integration: Asana - Github. Jira, Wrike and Trello on their way.

Confluence and Unito can be categorized as "Project Management" tools.

Some of the features offered by Confluence are:

  • Spaces
  • Pages
  • Editor

On the other hand, Unito provides the following key features:

  • Connect safely your GitHub and Asana accounts on Unito
  • Choose the repository and project you want to sync from the Unito interface
  • Every new change you or your team make in Github or Asana will be synced across tools

"Wiki search power" is the primary reason why developers consider Confluence over the competitors, whereas "Asana - GitHub Integration" was stated as the key factor in picking Unito.

Decisions about Confluence and Unito
Kirill Mikhailov

Since now Jira is offering pretty wide free plans, it can compete with asana at small teams. And they have a significant advantage especially if you're working in agile methodology. Confluence is also a big advantage, and also comes with a free plan, so it's a pretty big thing. But we had also talked about asana and used to work with it before a lot, but we chose to go with Jira, and it's pretty good for now.
