PreFlight vs Selenium: What are the differences?
Developers describe PreFlight as "Code-free Automated UI Testing". Record tests while using your product and process the test then you can run them on all the popular browsers, across Windows & MacOS. On the other hand, Selenium is detailed as "Web Browser Automation". Selenium automates browsers. That's it! What you do with that power is entirely up to you. Primarily, it is for automating web applications for testing purposes, but is certainly not limited to just that. Boring web-based administration tasks can (and should!) also be automated as well.
PreFlight and Selenium belong to "Browser Testing" category of the tech stack.
Selenium is an open source tool with 14.9K GitHub stars and 4.97K GitHub forks. Here's a link to Selenium's open source repository on GitHub.
